159th Birth Anniversary of Philanthropist Seth Chhaju Ram and Centennial Celebration of Jat Education Society Honored in Hisar

Haryana Chief Minister, Shri Nayab Singh Saini, participated in the grand celebration marking the 159th birth anniversary of the great philanthropist Seth Chhaju Ram and the centennial of the Jat Education Society, Hisar. During the event, CM Saini acknowledged the tremendous contributions of Seth Chhaju Ram, particularly in the field of education and social welfare. Seth Chhaju Ram’s visionary work continues to inspire generations, with his legacy upheld through the Jat Education Society, which has been instrumental in shaping the future of many individuals in the region. As part of the celebration, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the new Yoga and Indoor Activity Multipurpose Hall at Chhaju Ram Memorial Jat College in Hisar, aimed at promoting holistic development among students.

A notable example of his generosity was his financial sponsorship of the education of Deenbandhu Sir Chhotu Ram, a visionary leader and reformer. Seth Chhaju Ram’s ethos of education and societal upliftment laid the foundation for an enduring legacy, upheld today by his descendant, Shri Arvind Choudhary. The contributions of this family continue to empower the younger generation through education.

The celebratory event included the inauguration of a Yoga and Indoor Activity Multipurpose Hall at Chhaju Ram Memorial Jat College in Hisar, a step towards fostering holistic development and wellness among students.
