Punjab shooter Sifat Kaur Samra won one gold and one silver medal for India today in the ongoing Asian Games in Hangzhou. Angad Vir Singh Bajwa and Gurjot Singh Khanguda of Punjab won the bronze medal in men’s skit competition.

Sifat Kaur Samara, a student of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, won the gold medal in the 50m rifle three position in Hangzhou with a new world record in the individual category. In this competition, another shooter from India, Ashi Choksi, won the bronze medal. Sift won the silver medal in the 50m rifle three position team category playing for the Indian team.

In the skit competition, the Indian team won the bronze medal in which Punjab’s Angad Vir Singh Bajwa and Gurjot Singh Khanguda were part of the team.
