Punjab Showcases Agro-Food Potential at World Food India 2025, Investors Urged to Explore Opportunities

Punjab State hosted a knowledge session on the theme Flavouring the Future from Farm Gate to Global Plate – Unlocking Opportunities in Agro-Food Business  at World Food India 2025, organised by the Food Processing Industries, Government of India. Addressing the event, Punjab Cabinet Minister Sh. Sanjeev Arora highlighted the state’s vast strengths in agriculture and the abundant opportunities available in Punjab’s food processing sector. He emphasized that the Punjab government is implementing investor-friendly policies and urged domestic and international investors to explore the potential of the state. He assured that all necessary clearances for setting up industries in Punjab would be provided within 45 days and detailed the formation of an independent committee to frame a new industrial policy focused on food processing.
