AAP questions BJP over threat calls allegedly originating from Gujarat jail

The Aam Aadmi Party has raised serious concerns over alleged threat calls received by its leaders, claiming that the calls originated from a jail in Gujarat. In a sharp statement, AAP has demanded that the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Gujarat government explain how inmates have access to mobile phones and are able to make threatening communications from within a high-security facility.

AAP leaders said that such incidents point to severe lapses in prison security and raise troubling questions about the misuse of official machinery to intimidate political opponents. They insisted that the ruling party must clarify whether the calls were made with the knowledge of prison authorities or if this reflects a deeper breakdown in administrative control.

The party has also called for an independent investigation to determine who orchestrated the threats and how mobile networks are being accessed by jailed individuals. According to AAP, this episode reflects a pattern of political intimidation aimed at silencing dissent in the run-up to key elections.

The BJP has dismissed the allegations, calling them politically motivated. However, the controversy continues to escalate as demands for a transparent inquiry grow.
