The discussions marked a forward-looking step by the Haryana government to position Gurugram as a model city for smart and sustainable mobility solutions. With rapid urbanisation and increasing traffic congestion posing challenges in the National Capital Region, the proposed Glydways system is being seen as a potential game-changer in urban transport planning.
During the meeting, officials and technology experts explored the feasibility of deploying driverless pod taxis that operate on demand.
