Chief Minister Saini directed officials to link as many women as possible with the ‘Lakhpati Didi’ scheme, which aims to create a generation of economically empowered women capable of earning substantial incomes through self-reliance and entrepreneurship. He also ordered special camps under the Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana to facilitate the distribution of bank loans to female beneficiaries for setting up self-employment ventures.
The high-level review meeting was attended by Development and Panchayat Minister Shri Krishan Lal Panwar and other senior officials from departments including Rural Development, Women and Child Development, and Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs.
Over One Lakh Women Empowered

Boost to ‘Har Ghar – Har Grihini’ Scheme
Reviewing the ‘Har Ghar – Har Grihini’ scheme, the CM called for the organization of special village-level camps to link eligible families with the scheme. To date, around 18 lakh families have already been integrated into this scheme.
Safe Housing for Working Women
In line with providing secure and inclusive living spaces for working women, the government has planned to construct women’s hostels in every district. He emphasized equipping these hostels with solar power and air-conditioning facilities. Further, the CM proposed prioritizing industrial hubs like Manesar and Panipat for the next phase of hostel development.
Expansion of ‘Saksham Anganwadi’ Centres
To uplift early childhood care infrastructure, CM Saini reviewed the ‘Saksham Anganwadi’ project. He directed that by FY 2025-26, a total of 2,000 Anganwadi centers should be upgraded with modern amenities and converted into fully functional Saksham centers. He also proposed that community halls designated for Scheduled Castes should be developed with solar energy and air-conditioning to ensure consistent utility. A uniform architectural design for such halls across the state was suggested to standardize amenities.
Rural Sports Promotion
In an effort to encourage grassroots sports talent, the CM instructed officials to identify potential sporting talent at the village level and provide the required sports equipment and support. This move aims to create a nurturing environment for young athletes from rural backgrounds.
