Ayushman Bhav Campaign Launched in Himachal Pradesh to Provide Health Benefits to the Common People

The Ayushman Bhav campaign was launched in Himachal Pradesh on September 13, 2023 by Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla. The campaign aims to provide health benefits to the common people of the state.

The campaign will run from September 17 to October 2, 2023 and will cover all 12 districts of the state. During the campaign, Ayushman cards will be made for the remaining 4.58 lakh beneficiaries in the state. Ayushman fairs will also be organized in 58 model health centers and district hospitals of Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti.

Health Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil said that the campaign will also focus on tuberculosis screening. He said that 19 lakh houses will be visited and 64 lakh eligible population will be screened for tuberculosis during the campaign.

The Governor expressed confidence that the Ayushman Bhav campaign will be successful in providing health benefits to the common people of the state.
