BJP President JP Nadda Allocates Rs. 1782 Crore Aid for Himachal Pradesh Rain Disaster, Criticizes Congress Governance
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President, Jagat Prakash Nadda, addressed a public gathering in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, where he not only announced significant aid for the state’s rain disaster but also critiqued the Congress government’s governance strategies. Nadda lauded the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, attributing India’s progress across various sectors, from sports to space, to Modi’s visionary leadership. He highlighted the remarkable transformation of India from a nation associated with scams to one thriving with success and development.
Nadda emphasized the monumental achievements under the Modi government, including the construction of the Ram temple after 500 years and the abrogation of Article 370, granting freedom to the Indian army to act decisively against enemies. He asserted India’s rise as one of the top five financially sound nations globally and projected its imminent ascent to the top three.
Taking a swipe at the Congress-led government in Himachal Pradesh, Nadda accused it of being regressive and focused on reversing the decisions of former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. He cited the withdrawal of notifications for numerous government offices, degree colleges, and schools, along with the revocation of the HIMCARE card and pending hospital payments as examples of the government’s counterproductive actions.
Furthermore, Nadda criticized the Congress leadership, particularly Rahul Gandhi, labeling his activities as a “Break India Injustice March.” He condemned the opposition’s demands for a caste-based census, advocating instead for comprehensive development plans targeting the nation’s four essential pillars: the poor, youth, farmers, and women, under Modi’s leadership.
Highlighting the Modi government’s achievements, Nadda underscored the successful implementation of schemes like providing tap water and welfare benefits to millions of families through the Garib Kalyan Yojana. He expressed confidence in the electorate’s shift towards the BJP in Himachal Pradesh, predicting a clean sweep in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Despite adverse weather conditions canceling a planned roadshow, Nadda’s presence alongside Union Minister Anurag Thakur and former Chief Minister Jai Ram, along with other BJP leaders, bolstered the party’s morale, reflecting their commitment to the state’s progress and development.
