Sitting in a smaller chair next to an empty larger one reserved for the CM, Angural waited for half an hour at Babu Jagjivan Ram Chowk, surrounded by a group of BJP leaders, including Manoranjan Kalia, KD Bhandari, Rakesh Rathour, Anil Sarin, Jagbir Brar, Sushil Sharma, Ashok Sareen Hicky, and Ramesh Sharma.

Angural’s daughter and wife also joined the protest, with his daughter raising slogans in support of her father’s “struggle.” After waiting in vain for the CM’s arrival, Angural called the CM’s control room, vowing to ensure the recordings reached the CM and calling for a probe into the issue. He cited previous instances involving Lal Chand Kataruchakk and Balkar Singh, where pen drives had made waves, as precedents for his actions.

Adding to the drama, Angural claimed that he had received threats from a Pakistani number, warning that his daughter Sita Angural would be killed if he released the recordings. This allegation has further heightened the political tensions and raised concerns about the safety of the candidates and their families.
