CM Sukhu Graces Renuka Ji Fair, Promises Support for Hatti Community
Sirmaur, November 11: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu presided over the inaugural cultural night of the five-day International Renuka Ji Fair in Sirmour district. The fair, a significant religious and cultural event, draws devotees and tourists from far and wide to pay homage to Goddess Renuka.
In his address, the Chief Minister highlighted the government’s commitment to the welfare of the Hatti community. He assured that the state government would vigorously pursue the Hatti community’s case in court, employing top legal experts to secure their rights. He also emphasized the government’s efforts to provide relief to the people through Revenue Lok Adalats, which have successfully resolved numerous mutation cases.
Critiquing the previous BJP government, the Chief Minister accused them of misusing public funds for political gains through populist measures. He highlighted the current government’s focus on strengthening education and healthcare infrastructure, ensuring quality services for the people.
The Chief Minister also announced that doctors and nurses in medical colleges would be recruited based on international standards, aiming to improve healthcare services. Additionally, he emphasized the government’s commitment to providing free education to the children of widows, ensuring equal opportunities for all.
The fair, a cultural extravaganza, showcases the rich heritage and traditions of the region. Various cultural programs, including folk dances, music, and traditional arts, are being organized to entertain the visitors.
