“Congress MLA Rajinder Rana Expresses Discontent and Rebellion Against Party Leadership in Himachal Pradesh”

Rajinder Rana, a Congress MLA from Himachal Pradesh, has expressed his disappointment and frustration with the Congress leadership in a recent Facebook post. Rana, who led a major upset by defeating former Chief Minister P K Dhumal of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 2017 assembly polls, has been attempting to bring attention to the promises made by the Congress during the election campaign. However, he claims that these promises have not been fulfilled, and his efforts to raise the issue with the Congress leadership in Shimla and Delhi have been unsuccessful.

Rana’s post highlights the political developments in Himachal Pradesh over the past few days and the “hidden conspiracy” that he believes is taking place. He emphasizes his commitment, loyalty, dedication, trust, and responsibility towards the people of Himachal Pradesh, rather than to any “dwarf emperor” sitting at the pinnacle of power.

Rana’s post also discusses the promises made by the Congress during the election campaign and how these promises have not been fulfilled. He suggests that if he were to write about these broken promises now, it would result in a book on breach of promises.

In the end, Rana was left with two options: to join the kitchen cabinet of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu or to sound the bugle of rebellion. He chose the latter option in the interest of the state. Rana also mentions that his rebellion against the conspiracy of the present Congress government is at its last stage and that the result will soon be seen, which he hopes will be a pleasant milestone for Himachal Pradesh.

Rana’s post comes amidst a period of political turmoil in Himachal Pradesh, with six rebel Congress MLAs, including Rana, being disqualified for defying the party whip asking them to be present in the assembly and vote[4]. The Congress leadership has also removed a Himachal Pradesh leader from the party secretary’s post amid stepped-up measures to address the situation[5].
