CTU Announces New Bus Service to Ayodhya Dham for Religious Pilgrims
Chandigarh, January 30 – In response to the devout sentiments of millions of Lord Rama’s devotees, the Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU) is set to launch a new bus service to Ayodhya Dham in Uttar Pradesh. This initiative aims to facilitate pilgrims from Chandigarh and neighboring regions to visit the recently inaugurated Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Expanded Bus Services to Religious Destinations
CTU has been successfully operating bus services to various religious destinations across Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. These services have catered to pilgrims traveling to revered sites such as Salasar, Khatu Shyam, Vrindavan, Haridwar, Katra, Jwala Ji, and Chamunda Devi.
Schedule and Fare Details
The new bus service from ISBT-17, Chandigarh, to Ayodhya Dham will commence before Basant Panchami, adhering to the following schedule:
Departure from ISBT-17, Chandigarh: 13:30 Daily
Arrival at Ayodhya Dham: 08:30 Next Day
Departure from Ayodhya Dham:16:30 Daily
Arrival at ISBT-17, Chandigarh: 11:05 Next Day
The fare for the journey is set at Rs. 1706 for a distance of 947 kilometers, with an estimated travel time of 19 hours for a single side journey.
This new initiative by CTU aims to provide convenient and affordable transportation options for devotees wishing to undertake the sacred pilgrimage to Ayodhya Dham.
