DC Dr. Nipun Jindal pays homage to brave soldier

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Nipun of Kangra attended the final rites of BSF jawan Vijay Kumar, a courageous soldier hailing from the Shahpur area of Kangra district. On Friday, he paid tribute to Vijay Kumar, who tragically lost his life while on duty in Meghalaya.

Vijay Kumar, a resident of Gram Panchayat Pargoda in the Changar area of Shahpur, was serving in the BSF. His mortal remains were brought back to his hometown today, where he was laid to rest with military honors. The local community bid farewell to this brave soldier with tears in their eyes.

District Commissioner Dr. Nipun Jindal of Kangra also attended the funeral and expressed his heartfelt condolences to the grieving family. He emphasized that we will forever be indebted to the brave soldiers who make ultimate sacrifices to protect our nation.
