Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal Granted Bail in Delhi Excise Policy Case

The Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi has granted bail to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, requiring a bail bond of Rs 15,000 and a surety of Rs 1 lakh. This decision follows his appearance in response to court summons related to the Delhi Excise Policy case. The summons were issued based on two complaints filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The ED lodged complaints against Kejriwal for allegedly evading multiple summonses in the case. The most recent complaint accuses the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader of failing to respond to summonses numbered 4 to 8, issued under Section 50 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
