At the end of  first day’s play  in 5th test at Dharmshala ,the India has scored 135 after losing one wicket in their first innings in reply to England’s first innings total of
218 runs. India now Is just 83 runs behind England.  Captain Rohit Sharma
And Shubman Gill remained unbeaten after scoring 52 runs and 26 runs respectively and  there is a partnership of 31 runs between them so far.
The only blow to the Indian team is Yashasvi Jaiswal who scored 57 in 58 balls.
Earlier, England’s first innings was reduced to 218 runs on this opening day.  Kuldeep Yadav took five wickets.  At the same time, Ravichandran Ashwin, playing his 100th Test, took four wickets.  Jack Crowley scored the highest score of 79 runs for England.  Apart from this, Ravindra Jadeja got one wicket.  That means all 10 wickets of England were taken by Indian Spinners.
