Empowering India’s Power Sector: THDCIL and SJVN Spearhead Vigilance Workshop in Trivandrum

Highlighting the indispensable role of the power sector in propelling India’s socio-economic development and ensuring energy security, Sh. R. K. Vishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director of THDC India Limited (THDCIL), announced the commencement of a four-day interactive workshop in Trivandrum, Kerala. This workshop, attended by senior officers from leading power sector Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) such as SJVN and THDCIL, aims to enhance vigilance practices, promote knowledge sharing, and implement best practices across organizations.

Sh. Vishnoi underscored the pivotal role of vigilance in organizational growth, emphasizing the importance of transparency and integrity in operations. By championing transparency, objectivity, and national interest, vigilance ensures organizational effectiveness and ethical conduct, crucial for the nation’s development journey.

Furthermore, Sh. Vishnoi highlighted the workshop’s focus on upholding organizational values and principles in the power sector CPSEs. SJVN and THDCIL, as premier public sector undertakings, lead the charge in harnessing hydro, solar, wind, and thermal energy sources.
