Haryana Chief Minister’s Landmark Announcement: Unveiling Development Projects Worth Approximately ₹4223 Crore
In a momentous gesture towards inclusive growth and infrastructure development, Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal Khattar has bestowed upon the residents of Haryana a remarkable gift in the form of development projects totaling nearly ₹4200 crore. These projects, spanning across all 22 districts of the state, include the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies of 679 initiatives valued at over ₹3623 crore. Additionally, the launch of the Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana (HAPPY) with a budget of around ₹600 crore marks a significant step towards enhancing public transportation services for the underprivileged.
Fulfilling Development Commitments: Key Highlights
– The development initiatives unveiled today encompassed the inauguration of 392 projects valued at approximately ₹938 crore and the groundbreaking of 287 projects with an estimated investment of ₹2684 crore.
– A state-level event held in Panchkula saw the Chief Minister remotely inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for 20 major projects through video conferencing. Similar ceremonies were conducted across other districts, attended by ministers, parliamentarians, and legislators, signifying widespread developmental efforts.
Major Development Projects Unveiled:
1. Delhi-Agra-Delhi Vadodara Expressway:** The foundation stone for a 4-lane elevated road, from Ballabhgarh Mohana Road to connect Delhi, Agra, and Vadodara, with an estimated cost of ₹214 crore in Faridabad.
2. Flyover from Khalsa Chowk to Haryana Nursing Home:** In Karnal, a flyover project worth ₹127 crore commenced, promising improved connectivity and traffic management.
3. Nehar-based Water Supply Scheme:** A water supply scheme for 61 villages in Ateli Mandi, Mahendragarh, initiated with an investment of ₹114 crore.
4. Expansion of Transport Building:** The foundation stone laid for a transport building in Panchkula, costing ₹87 crore, aimed at enhancing infrastructure for efficient public transportation.
5. Construction of HL Bridge over Yamuna River:** Connecting Bilaspur to Khajuri, an HL Bridge over the Yamuna River with an expenditure of ₹87 crore promises improved connectivity and accessibility.
6. Sukhpara Chowk Flyover:** In Rohtak, the foundation stone for a flyover at Sukhpara Chowk, valued at ₹65 crore, aims to ease traffic congestion and enhance road safety.
7. New Auditorium Building:** The inauguration of a new auditorium building at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University in Sonipat, with an estimated cost of ₹61 crore, facilitates academic and cultural activities.
8. Enhancement of Water Supply Scheme:** A ₹39 crore augmentation project for the water supply scheme in Barwala, Hisar, promises improved access to clean water for residents.
9. Community Solar Grid Power Irrigation Project:** In Jind, the foundation stone laid for a community solar grid power irrigation project, costing ₹32 crore, signifies a sustainable approach towards agricultural development.
10. Inauguration of State Information Commission Building:** A ₹36 crore state-of-the-art building for the State Information Commission in Haryana’s capital, Chandigarh, aimed at facilitating transparency and accountability.
