Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 32 significant projects valued at over Rs 227 crore in Panipat, announcing Rs 10 crore each for development in Panipat Urban and Rural Assembly constituencies. He emphasized that the 10-year tenure of the current government, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, has surpassed the development achieved in the previous 48 years, highlighting a system focused on inclusive growth. Among the inaugurated projects were 19 roads costing Rs 36.55 crore, and the foundation stones for 12 projects were laid, including ITI construction in Chulkana and indoor stadium in Old Sabzi Mandi. The Chief Minister criticized past governments for regional discrimination in development and public welfare schemes, asserting that the present administration follows the philosophy of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas, Sabka Vishwas,’ ensuring equal development across all regions. The state maintains an 8% annual economic growth rate, surpassing the national average of 6.7%, driven by robust infrastructure that attracts industry and investment. Singh announced the target of installing solar panels on 1 lakh rooftops under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar-Free Electricity Scheme, with financial assistance from both central and state governments, and the abolition of monthly minimum electricity charges benefiting 9.5 lakh poor families. Additionally, the state has empowered panchayats to expedite village development projects and issued social security pensions to 75,000 new beneficiaries. The event, attended by state ministers Subhash Sudha and Mahipal Dhanda, also saw discussions on improving drainage systems in villages and other infrastructure enhancements. The Chief Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to corruption-free administration and stringent actions against malpractice, reflecting a vision of inclusive and sustainable development for Haryana.
