Haryana Labor Department Inaugurates Central Processing Centers to Enhance Efficiency and Transparency
Chandigarh, February 16 – The Haryana Labor Department today inaugurated the Central Processing Center (CPC) at the ESIC Health Care Directorate in Panchkula. The objective of the Central Processing Center is to bring about positive changes in the registration of workers and application processes related to schemes of the Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, enhancing efficiency and transparency.
A government spokesperson informed that with the opening of this center, the Labor Department has now established two CPCs in Hisar and Panchkula districts. Additionally, plans are underway to start another CPC in Sonipat district soon. The primary aim behind setting up such CPCs is to improve the efficiency and transparency of registration and scheme application processes.
They further elaborated that the Haryana Labor Department has taken several significant steps. Among these, the use of mobile devices during office hours will be prohibited for officials to ensure each application receives thorough attention and impartiality.
Despite issuing unified guidelines and rules, it has been observed that employees often provide different comments, resulting in disparities in application processing. With the commencement of the CPC, all operators and assistant welfare officers will work together under one roof. This unified approach will ensure adherence to uniform standards of operation under the guidance of senior officials.
