Haryana’s CM Manohar Lal highlights achievements of Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP)

Haryana’s Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) is a unique scheme that provides benefits of all government schemes and services to the public through a single platform. The scheme has been widely accepted by the people and has helped to streamline the delivery of government services.

The PPP is a self-declared data entry system, and citizens can apply to update or correct any information recorded in it. If a citizen applies to update or correct any details recorded in the PPP, it is rectified within 30 days. So far, 84,34,961 complaints have been received under 22 categories, out of which 80,50,611 complaints have been redressed. The remaining 3 lakh 86 thousand complaints will also be resolved soon.

The complaints received can be broadly categorized into three types:

  • Corrections to information: These include changes in name, address, spouse’s name, date of birth, bank account, occupation, income, etc.
  • Grievances related to services: These include complaints about not receiving the benefits of a scheme or service, or facing problems while availing a service.
  • Updation of information: This includes changes in family composition due to birth, death, or marriage.

The process of making changes and updates in the PPP categories is an ongoing process. The government is working proactively to ensure that the data in the PPP is accurate and up-to-date. The birth, death, and marriage registration data has also been integrated with the PPP, which enables auto-updation in the PPP.

The PPP has helped to improve the transparency and efficiency of the government’s delivery of services. It has also helped to reduce corruption and ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach the intended beneficiaries.

The Haryana government is committed to further strengthening the PPP and making it a more effective tool for delivering good governance to the people of the state.
