 December 24, 2023: Himachal Pradesh has achieved remarkable success in its pursuit of a robust criminal justice system, bagging the coveted 2nd position across India for its exemplary implementation of the Inter-Operable Criminal Justice System (ICJS) project, specifically the “Prosecution Pillar.” This prestigious recognition was bestowed upon the state’s Prosecution Department at the recently concluded 5th Conference on Good Practices in Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and System/ICJS held in Delhi.

High-Ranking Accolade Presented by Distinguished Figure:

The award ceremony witnessed a momentous occasion as Director Intelligence Bureau Tapan Deka, in the esteemed presence of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, presented the accolade to Secretary, Home, Abhishek Jain, alongside other senior officials from the Prosecution Department. This distinguished recognition serves as a testament to the department’s unwavering dedication to streamlining and enhancing criminal justice processes in Himachal Pradesh.

Following the award presentation, Secretary Home, Abhishek Jain, provided the Chief Minister with a comprehensive briefing on the ICJS program and the All India e-Prosecution portal, platforms on which Himachal Pradesh competed with other states.
