Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu presided over the ‘Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar’ programme at Bada Bhanjaal in Gagret assembly constituency of Una district on Thursday. The program’s objective is to resolve the grievances of the people at their doorsteps and reach out to the last person in the row.

Key announcements by the Chief Minister:

  • Opening of Deputy Superintendent of Police office in Gagret.
  • Allocation of Rs. 50 lakh for the stadium at Banjhaal.
  • Upgradation of Community Health Centre at Daulatpur to Civil Hospital.
  • Opening of a college at Gagret upon land availability.
  • Discussions underway with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) for setting up a Rs 175 crore ethanol plant at Jeetpur-Behri.
