Himachal Pradesh Enjoys Pleasant Weather After Snowfall in Higher Altitudes

Himachal Pradesh has been experiencing delightful weather over the past few days, with bright sunshine during the day and a refreshing chill in the mornings and evenings. Recent snowfall in higher altitudes, such as Dhauladhar, Lahaul Spiti, and Rohtang Pass, has contributed to the overall cooler climate across the state.

The minimum temperature in Dalhousie, Chamba, has dropped to as low as six degrees Celsius. On Thursday, sunny skies prevailed across the state, from Shimla to Manali, making the weather quite pleasant.

However, the meteorological department predicts a change in weather patterns around the beginning of Navratri. According to the Shimla-based Meteorological Center, October 15 and 16 may bring a shift in the weather pattern in Himachal Pradesh. On these days, there is a possibility of snowfall in the higher mountain regions, while the lower areas could experience rainfall. Meanwhile, from October 12 to 14, the state is expected to continue enjoying clear weather and sunshine.

In Manali, the recent snowfall in the valley during October has led to a decrease in temperatures. Areas such as Rohtang Pass, Hampta, and Lahaul Spiti have witnessed snowfall. This has brought joy to tourists who have come to explore the Kullu-Manali region. After experiencing floods in July, Manali has now returned to normalcy, and travelers are beginning to visit the scenic destination once again.
