The Himachal Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, has fulfilled its fifth election guarantee by announcing a monthly stipend of Rs. 1,500 for all women above 18 years old. This initiative, named the “Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh-Sammaan Nidhi Yojana,” aims to empower women financially and improve their social standing.
