Himachal Pradesh to Experience Change in Weather from Friday Night

Himachal Pradesh experienced sunny weather on Thursday, with bright sunshine in Shimla. The state has been experiencing a dry spell for the past 20 days, but the weather is expected to change from Thursday night. The minimum temperature in Himachal Pradesh has dropped slightly despite the dry spell, with Lahaul Spiti experiencing the coldest weather.

The Shimla Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert for Himachal Pradesh on Friday for snowfall in the higher reaches of the state and rain in the plains. However, the weather is expected to be clear throughout the state from November 11 to 14.

Earlier on Wednesday, the maximum temperature in Una was 29.4 degrees Celsius, Sundar Nagar 28.5 degrees Celsius, Kangra 28.0 degrees Celsius, Bhuntar 26.6 degrees Celsius, Mandi 26.4 degrees Celsius, Nahan 25.2 degrees Celsius, Dharamshala 25.0 degrees Celsius, Solan 24.5 degrees Celsius, Chamba 24.7 degrees Celsius, Shimla 18.6 degrees Celsius, Kalpa 16.2 degrees Celsius, and Keylong 11.3 degrees Celsius.

Traffic on the Leh-Manali Highway is moving smoothly, but movement is only allowed at certain times. The district administration has advised tourists and people traveling on the Manali-Leh road, along with the Rohtang Pass, Darcha-Shinkula, and Granphu-Kaza roads, to be cautious. People may face difficulties on the Manali-Leh road due to the possibility of snowfall and a drop in temperature.
