Police officials said the seizures are expected to deal a substantial blow to drug distribution networks operating in the region.<br><br>Separate cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act have been registered at Ajnala and Beas police stations. Investigators are now working to trace the complete supply chain, identify the source of the contraband, and uncover both the forward distribution network and the individuals financing and facilitating the smuggling operations.<br><br>Officials said the investigation is focused on identifying all associates connected to the racket, with further arrests and recoveries expected as the probe progresses.<br><br>The latest action comes amid Punjab Police&#8217;s sustained drive against drug trafficking, with intelligence-led operations being intensified across the state to disrupt organised narcotics syndicates.
