Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister expressed gratitude to the Vardhman Textile Group for supporting the construction of the new infrastructure under its corporate social responsibility initiative. Built at a cost of \u20b95 crore, the project includes 18 modern classrooms and three staff rooms, significantly strengthening the school’s educational facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Highlighting the rapid expansion of Punjab’s education reforms, Mann said Ludhiana has emerged as one of the leading districts in the state’s school transformation programme. He noted that the city now has 16 Schools of Eminence, 11 Schools of Brilliance and 35 Schools of Happiness, all aimed at improving the quality of learning and providing students with modern educational opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Chief Minister also announced that two more Schools of Eminence would soon be dedicated to the public at Millerganj and Division No. 3, further expanding access to high-quality government education in Ludhiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Emphasising the impact of these reforms, Mann said students from government schools are increasingly competing successfully in national-level entrance examinations. He pointed out that 146 students from Ludhiana’s government schools qualified the NEET examination, while 42 students cleared JEE (Main and Advanced), calling these achievements a reflection of the state’s education revolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the Chief Minister, the improving academic performance of government school students demonstrates that sustained investment in infrastructure, teacher development and modern learning environments is delivering measurable results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reiterating his government’s long-term vision, Mann said Punjab remains fully committed to providing children with world-class education and ensuring that students studying in government schools receive opportunities comparable to the best educational institutions in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said the transformation of public education would continue to remain one of the government’s highest priorities, with the objective of equipping every child in Punjab with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to succeed in an increasingly competitive global environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
