Hisar, April 6, 2025<\/strong> \u2014 In a powerful push towards a drug-free Haryana<\/strong>, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini<\/strong> flagged off the state-level Cyclothon 2.0 campaign<\/strong> from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (HAU), Hisar<\/strong>, on Saturday. The event marks the beginning of a mass movement aimed at creating awareness against drug abuse across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route for Cyclothon 2.0<\/strong> began at Gate No. 1 of HAU<\/strong>, passing through Fletcher Bhawan (HAU administrative block)<\/strong>, Rani Lakshmibai Chowk<\/strong>, Fawwara Chowk<\/strong>, Matka Chowk<\/strong>, Camp Chowk<\/strong>, and eventually heading towards Tosham Road<\/strong>. The journey will continue through villages like Dabra, Ladwa, and Sultanpur<\/strong>, entering Bhiwani district via Ratera village<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Massive Participation and Enthusiastic Start<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With over 50,000 registrations<\/strong> and 10,000 bicycles arriving at Mahabir Stadium<\/strong> by Friday night, the scale of participation was record-breaking. Thousands of youth, students, NCC and NSS cadets, police personnel, Army members<\/strong>, and common citizens<\/strong> took part in the movement, turning the campaign into a youth-led social revolution<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cyclothon is not merely a sporting event<\/strong>, but a historic step toward eradicating drugs<\/strong> and spreading awareness among the masses. Rajesh Kauth<\/strong>, the nodal officer for the campaign, said the initiative reflects the government\u2019s vision of a healthy and drug-free Haryana<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cultural Programs Spread Anti-Drug Message<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To ensure greater outreach, cultural performances<\/strong> were organized during the event, aiming to connect emotionally with the public and especially the youth. Performers like Subhash Fauji, Amit Dhull, Naveen Poonia, Pooja Hooda, and Pradeep Boora<\/strong> inspired the audience through powerful presentations. Artists from the Information, Public Relations and Languages Department<\/strong> also performed, highlighting the dangers and social impact of drug abuse<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cyclothon to Cover Multiple Districts and End in Sirsa<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Cyclothon will run until April 27<\/strong>, covering several key towns and villages across Haryana. After Hisar and Bhiwani, the route will include Ladwa, Sultanpur, Umra, Ratera, Dhani Kirwar, Tosham, Sagban, and Bapoda<\/strong>, among others, before concluding in Sirsa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Campaign That Sparks Statewide Energy and Hope<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
