According to sources, nearly **50 senior officials** from Punjab have come under the scanner for allegedly amassing disproportionate assets and investing in benami properties. Several of these officers are currently serving in key administrative and police positions across the state.

Investigators revealed that the suspended DIG allegedly colluded with a middleman named **Krishnu Sharda**, who played a pivotal role in facilitating corrupt deals between Bhullar and senior bureaucrats. CBI officials have recovered significant electronic evidence \u2014 including mobile data and digital records \u2014 from Sharda\u2019s devices, pointing to multiple financial transactions involving top officials.
