Inspiring Moments: Pariksha pe Charcha 2024 Livestream Captivates Students

Students across Chandigarh were enthralled by the livestreaming of the seventh edition of Pariksha pe Charcha, a groundbreaking initiative by Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. This year witnessed a novel approach as the program was broadcasted live in both private and government schools, fostering a sense of unity and shared experience among examinees.

The event garnered special attention at PM Shri GGMSSS18, where Honourable Governor Punjab and Administrator UT Chandigarh, Shri Banwari Lal Purohit, graced the occasion. Notable dignitaries including Adviser to the Administrator Sh. Nitin Kumar Goyal, Secretary Education Ms. Hargunjit Kaur, and Director School Education Mr. HPS Brar, among others, were also in attendance.

Highlighting the significance of the occasion, students Shiny Arora from St. Joseph’s Senior Secondary School Sector 44 and Sukhmani Sarang from PM Shri GGMSSS18 were selected to participate in the mega event at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. This year’s extended participation criteria, open to students from class VI onwards, led to a record-breaking registration of over 20 million students.

The live session, attended by approximately 85,000 students and 6,700 teachers across all government, private, and private aided schools of UT Chandigarh, showcased Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s insightful responses to exam-related queries. His emphasis on practical strategies, mental and physical well-being, and the importance of self-belief resonated deeply with the audience.

PM Modi’s wise counsel on healthy competition, challenges, and the role of trust between students, parents, and teachers left a lasting impact. Encouraging a mindset of problem-solving and optimism, he underscored the collective responsibility of citizens in nation-building.

The event concluded with a resounding message: Every challenge is an opportunity, and with the right mindset and leadership, success is within reach. With these empowering insights, students departed with renewed motivation and determination to excel in their academic pursuits.
