“Maa Adi Himani Chamunda: Department Resumes Solar Light Repairs amidst Political and Public Pressure”

After political and public pressure, the Himachal Energy Department has bowed down and started the work of repairing solar lights on the way to Adi Himani Chamunda Temple. The Himachal Pradesh Energy Department team commenced the task of reconnecting solar light connections on Tuesday, successfully achieving the goal of connecting about 25 connections on the same day. Last Thursday, following a complaint from a local resident, the Forest Department had disconnected the connections of 40 out of 100 solar lights installed on the way to Adi Himani Chamunda Temple.

Local MLA  and sr Congress leader registered a FIR over the issue and spoke to CM too, various social organizations, along with political parties such as BJP and Congress, and adjoining  local Panchayats openly expressed their displeasure and submitted a complaint letter to Kangra District Magistrate Dr. Nipun Jindal. In response, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu issued orders to restart the solar lights. Meanwhile, Ramesh Thakur, the project officer of Him Urja, stated that a team was sent on Tuesday to reconnect the connections, with the aim of completing all the connections by Wednesday.
