Miss Earth India 2022, Vanshika Parmar, Meets Chief Minister

Miss Earth India 2022, Vanshika Parmar, a resident of Dhaneta in Nadaun Sub Division, Hamirpur, recently met with Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. At just 19 years old, Vanshika clinched the title of Miss Earth India in November 2022, at an event held in The Philippines. Chief Minister Sukhu commended Vanshika as a source of inspiration for young girls, highlighting the remarkable achievements of Himachali women on the international stage. He urged Vanshika to focus on women empowerment initiatives and offered collaboration with the State Government to support the welfare of single girl children. Additionally, Vanshika served as the tourism ambassador of Ghana throughout 2023 and actively promoted eco-tourism initiatives in the Philippines. Accompanying Vanshika were her parents, Group Captain Susheel Kumar Parmar and Ritu Parmar.
