Dharamshala. Vice Chancellor of Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Prof. Sat Prakash Bansal said that after the removal of Article 370 and 35A on August 5, 2019, there has been a new infusion of energy in Jammu and Kashmir. The proper benefits of the Central Government schemes have reached the people in Jammu and Kashmir. The tourism sector has developed rapidly. New industries have come up and according to a report, 30,000 people have got employment since then. He said that Central University  of Himachal Pradesh will do research on this revolutionary change in Jammu and Kashmir and present the real situation before the country and the world. He was speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration of the Constitutional Accession Week on behalf of the Center for Kashmir Studies at Dhauladhar Campus 1 of the Central University on Thursday. This week is being organized from 26th October to 31st October. Senior Supreme Court advocate RK Raizada participated in it as the keynote speaker.

On this occasion, he said that due to political activism in the country regarding Article 370 and 35A in Jammu and Kashmir and constitutional silence on the facts, this puzzle remained unsolved for years. During the discussion on this issue in the Honorable Court, the false narratives fabricated in political form were demolished. Development has gained momentum in Jammu and Kashmir after the removal of Article 370 and 35A. While addressing the inaugural session of the Constitutional Accession Week organized by the Center for Kashmir Studies of Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Advocate RK Raizada solved many complex puzzles related to Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that the Pakistan Army carried out a brutal attack on Jammu and Kashmir on October 22, 1947, brutally killed many people and treated the survivors inhumanely. Referring to the Menon Report, he said that preparations for this planned attack had been going on for a long time and small attacks had started in different parts of Jammu and Kashmir on August 8, 1947 itself. Thousands of people were killed in this attack by Pakistan on 22 October. After this, one of the biggest deportations in human history began. After being deported from there, a large number of Hindus and Sikhs had to take refuge in 22 provinces of the country including Himachal Pradesh.

In seven sessions of the workshop, experts related to Jammu and Kashmir will present their speeches on topics related to the princely state of Jammu and Kashmir. In the program, Director of Kashmir Study Centre, Prof. Abha Chauhan, Prof. Malkit Singh, Dr. Jaiprakash Singh, Dr. Ajay Kumar, Dr. Udaybhan Singh, Dr. NR Gopal and Professors, researchers and students from various departments were present.
