The state government has announced the transfer of eight IPS officers and one PPS officer, including notable figures such as former Jalandhar Police Commissioner Swapan Sharma. The list of transferred officers features Neelabh Kishore, Rahul, Ranjit Singh, Kuldeep Singh Chahal, Ajay Maluja, Harmanbir Singh, and Gagan Ajit Singh. According to the issued order, Swapan Sharma has been reassigned as the Police Commissioner in Jalandhar, while Kuldeep Chahal has been appointed as the Police Commissioner in Ludhiana, reflecting the government’s strategy to strengthen law enforcement in key districts.
