Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Slams BJP Over Arrest of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) following the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Addressing the media outside Kejriwal’s residence, Mann accused the BJP of harassing all its opponents. He alleged that the BJP was trapping its adversaries in false cases to prevent them from campaigning for the upcoming elections.

Mann emphasized that arresting Arvind Kejriwal wouldn’t confine his ideology. He lamented that he, too, faced interference from the Governor whenever he tried to work for the betterment of Punjab. Mann highlighted the BJP’s alleged discrimination against Punjab by withholding crores of rupees in central funds due to the party’s disdain for the state.
