Punjab CM Warns Revenue Officers of Strict Action for Pen Down Strike
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Wednesday warned Revenue officers of strict action if they go on a pen down strike in support of their corrupt colleagues.
Mann said that the state government is committed to eliminating corruption and will not tolerate any kind of protest that inconveniences the public. He said that there are many unemployed youth in the state who are ready to serve the people by taking up government jobs.
Mann’s warning comes after Revenue officers threatened to go on a pen down strike to protest the suspension of one of their colleagues who was found to be involved in corruption.
The Chief Minister said that the state government will not allow corrupt elements to hold the state hostage. He urged the Revenue officers to join the fight against corruption and help the government in making Punjab a corruption-free state.
Mann’s message is clear: corruption will not be tolerated in Punjab. He has sent a strong signal to the Revenue officers and other government employees that they will be held accountable for their actions.
The Chief Minister’s warning is a welcome step in the fight against corruption. It is important that the government takes strong action against corrupt officials in order to send a message that corruption will not be tolerated.
The people of Punjab have high hopes for the new government. They are looking forward to a government that is honest, transparent, and accountable. The Chief Minister’s warning is a step in the right direction. Let us hope that he follows through on his words and takes strong action against corruption.
