Punjab Vidhan Sabha to Honor Farmers Abstaining from Stubble Burning
Chandigarh, India – [November 19, 2023] – In a commendable initiative to discourage stubble burning and promote sustainable agricultural practices, the Punjab Vidhan Sabha will honor farmers who have refrained from this harmful practice. This decision was announced by Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Speaker of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, during a recent address.
Acknowledging the significant contribution of these environmentally conscious farmers in curbing air pollution and safeguarding public health, Sandhwan emphasized the Punjab Government’s unwavering commitment to recognizing their efforts.
