Amritsar (Kumar Soni): In a tragic incident, Darbara Singh, an employee of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), was brutally murdered on Saturday around 1:30 PM within the premises of Shri Harmandir Sahib. The accused, Sukhbir Singh, who is also an SGPC employee, attacked Darbara Singh with a kirpan he was carrying, inflicting five fatal blows. The victim, Darbara Singh, was set to retire on October 31. It is reported that the two had a longstanding enmity. Following the incident, the SGPC has suspended Sukhbir Singh.
