SHIMLA, January 25, 2024: SJVN Ltd., a leading power generation company in India, has won the bid for a 100 MW solar power project in Gujarat, further strengthening its commitment to green energy.

- SJVN bagged the full quoted capacity of 100 MW through an e-reverse auction conducted by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).
- The project will be developed by SJVN’s subsidiary, SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), at a tentative cost of Rs 550 crore.
- The project is expected to generate 252 million units in its first year, with a total of 5866 million units over 25 years.
