Rishikesh, India (January 12, 2024): In a significant step towards strengthening rural healthcare access, THDC India Limited (THDCIL) and AIIMS, Rishikesh have joined hands to launch a mobile health van initiative. This collaborative effort aims to address the healthcare needs of remote communities in Uttarakhand.

Flagged off at THDCIL’s Corporate Office in Rishikesh, the ambulance van was inaugurated by Sh. Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel) THDCIL, and Professor Meenu Singh, Director AIIMS, Rishikesh. This symbolic ceremony marks a new chapter in THDCIL’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its dedication to improving the lives of underserved communities in the state.

Reaching the Unreached:

“The Ambulance Van will serve the rural communities,” emphasized Sh. R. K. Vishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director, THDC India Limited. He highlighted this initiative as a testament to THDCIL’s ongoing commitment to positively impacting society, particularly focusing on the underserved and economically challenged population of Uttarakhand.
