Transparent Recruitment for Youth: Haryana CM Naib Singh Saini Honors 300 Meritorious Students
Chandigarh, July 18 – Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini emphasized the transparent recruitment process for government jobs in the state, highlighting that even children from economically weaker backgrounds are now securing prestigious positions like HCS officers and police inspectors. Addressing a ceremony at Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College, Karnal, CM Saini awarded medals and commendation certificates to approximately 300 top-performing students from Haryana Education Board, Bhiwani, recognizing their outstanding achievements in the 10th and 12th grades at both state and district levels. He noted the transformation in the state’s environment, where hard work and coaching are enabling youth to secure government jobs without corruption. Saini asserted that the government has taken stringent measures against corruption, ensuring no leniency for officials involved in malpractice. He also highlighted the state government’s commitment to strengthening the educational infrastructure and improving the quality of education, aligning with the new National Education Policy. Notably, the government has established around 35 women’s colleges in the past decade to promote female education, ensuring that girls do not miss out on educational opportunities due to distance. The Chief Minister called on students to set clear goals and strive for success through hard work, discipline, and time management. He urged them to draw inspiration from Kalpana Chawla, whose legacy is honored through the medical college named after her. CM Saini also engaged in a dialogue with students, addressing questions about ideal student qualities and the importance of English. He stressed that while English is important, proficiency in one’s mother tongue, Hindi, is equally crucial, and emphasized the growing acceptance of regional languages in competitive exams and educational admissions. The event saw the presence of Haryana Education Board Chairman Dr. V.P. Yadav, BJP District President Yogendra Rana, Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College Director Dr. N.K. Garg, Deputy Commissioner Uttam Singh, Superintendent of Police Mohit Handa, and other dignitaries.
