Chandigarh, April 1, 2025: In a significant administrative development, respected senior IAS officer Ramvir, from the 2009 batch, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Secretary, Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD), Government of Punjab.
Ramvir, who is currently serving as the Secretary of the Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board, will now also oversee the responsibilities of the IPRD as its Administrative Secretary. The government’s decision reflects trust in his administrative acumen and experience in handling key positions.
With this expanded role, Ramvir is expected to strengthen the state’s public communication and media relations framework, ensuring effective dissemination of government policies and initiatives.
