Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini launched a strong attack on the Congress party, asserting that while the Constitution of India remains intact, the people of the country have politically “ended Congress.” Speaking at a public gathering in village Patak Majra, Saini accused the opposition of misleading citizens by spreading false narratives about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third term and the future of the Constitution. He said, “The Constitution has not been touched, but the people have shown Congress the exit door. The opposition has no real issues left, which is why they resort to lies.”
Saini also criticized Congress leaders for questioning the credibility of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), calling the system transparent and reliable. He emphasized that the people’s mandate reflects genuine trust in the democratic process.
During his address, the Chief Minister announced a grant of ₹21 lakh for Panchayat-led development projects in the village and assured that all demands raised by locals would be considered by respective departments.
Highlighting development milestones under the BJP government, Saini praised Prime Minister Modi’s leadership over the last 11 years, stating that India’s fast-paced growth has strengthened its global standing. He recalled that Modi recently gifted Haryana projects worth ₹2,000 crore, boosting connectivity and infrastructure in the state.
The Chief Minister also reviewed his government’s performance against the election manifesto, noting that out of 217 promises, 41 have already been fulfilled and another 90 will be completed by year-end. He reaffirmed the state’s commitment to providing government jobs without corruption or nepotism, explaining how court challenges had temporarily delayed recruitment processes. “When I became CM, my first priority was to fulfill the promise of jobs. Thousands of youth have now joined on merit alone,” Saini said.
He further underlined welfare measures, such as free dialysis in government hospitals, colleges, and medical universities, ensuring that no family bears the burden of expensive treatment. Farmers too, he noted, have benefited from Haryana being the first state in India to procure all crops at Minimum Support Price (MSP), alongside financial assistance through the Bhavantar Bharpai Yojana for vegetable growers.
In addition, the CM pointed out initiatives to provide ownership rights to families living on Panchayati land by registering their homes at 2004 collector rates. Recently, 5,000 landless families were allotted 100-yard residential plots, with more applications invited in the next phase. Special land rights were also extended to members of the Prajapati community to revive their traditional livelihoods.
On infrastructure, Saini stressed his government’s achievement of 24-hour electricity supply in rural areas, contrasting it with Congress’s tenure where villages faced daily power cuts lasting up to 20 hours.
Looking ahead, Saini announced that the state will soon recruit constables for the Haryana Police, with complete transparency promised in the process. He encouraged young people to prepare diligently, assuring that merit will remain the only criterion.
The Chief Minister’s visit concluded with a rousing reception from villagers, marking yet another campaign-style outreach combining political messaging with governance pledges.
