The Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, has introduced the Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna, a groundbreaking health insurance scheme that provides ₹10 lakh coverage to all 65 lakh families in the state. This initiative aims to benefit three crore residents, linking government and private hospitals to offer cashless treatment via the CM Health Card.

Universal Eligibility: All permanent residents of Punjab are eligible, regardless of income level or employment status.


Simple Registration Process: People can register using their Aadhaar card, voter ID, or passport, with special enrollment camps set up in villages and urban areas to assist those without internet access.


Comprehensive Coverage: The scheme covers over 2,000 health procedures and surgeries, including cashless treatment at both government and empaneled private hospitals.


No Bureaucratic Hurdles: No income proof, ration card, or Ayushman Bharat registration is required, making it easily accessible to all residents.
